I am SO stoked to communicate through this blog and share my epic adventure with you! For those who don't know, I am going to Italy to study abroad for two months. I am art major and I will be taking a variety of art classes in Italy. Yes...I am super stoked. This blog will be my way of sharing this venture with my amazing friends and family.
So....keep coming back...and we will continue the journey together :)
Phase 1: Seattle
Thursday morning we (Cody, his brother, and mom) left for Seattle. I woke up at 4:50am, yes....super early, but I am a freak and I don't sleep anyway. I got up, showered, and threw some last minute items into my suitcase. I had a million thoughts passing through my mind, which did not help with the nerves but I did my best to think collectively so I wouldn't forget anything. After I finished packing (FINALLY!) I woke my parenst up and had my Dad say a prayer for me. I teared up a little bit, but luckily when I walked out the door Cody was laughing at the size of my suitcase, ("Omg it's as big as the car!" His mom said haha) so I smiled and laughed too. Thank goodness for the lighter shift in the atmosphere because I was nervous. We continued to laugh all the way to the car then shoved the giant suitcase into the trunk. I wrote some notes on my Ipod after we took off.....

We're leaving Great Falls....I'm nervous but excited...I hope I didn't forget my make up. Four of us are stuffed in this car along with about six pillows....I feel like a marshmallow.September 20th 10:13 AM
I'm relaxed now. We pulled over and ate. My excitement is takeing over any anxiety I had.I was anxious to get to the hotel by the third hour of being a squished marshmallow. I wasn't able to sleep the whole trip to Seattle...but I did rest....with my eyes closed....so I sort of slept. Haha. I have a couple videos of our adventure on a GIANT ferris wheel in Seattle today. So, I will post those soon :)
